What is a "class A" uniform?
The class A uniform is composed of the official, khaki, button-up boy scout shirt (long or short sleeved) , with appropriate patches and badges, forest green pants (either long or short), boy scout belt and buckle, and scout socks. Class A uniforms are always worn at all ceremonial and indoor activities, such as troop meetings, courts of honor, and most other indoor functions. The uniform should also be worn during special outdoor occasions, such as Scout shows, flag ceremonies, and special times at summer camp.
